Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)

To qualify for the degree, students must:

  1. Pass a minimum of 20.0 credits.
  2. Of the 20.0 credits, at least 6.0 credits must be at the C- and/or D-level, with at least 1.0 credit at the D-level
  3. Of the 20.0 credits, at least 0.5 credit must come from each of the following five breadth categories (breadth categories are identified in course descriptions):
    1. Arts, Literature & Language
    2. History, Philosophy & Cultural Studies
    3. Social & Behavioural Sciences
    4. Natural Sciences
    5. Quantitative Reasoning
  4. Of the 20.0 credits, at least 0.5 credit must come from courses designated as work-integrated-learning (work-integrated-learning, or WIL, courses are identified in course descriptions).
  5. Programs: complete one of
    1. the Specialist programs in Management, or  
    2. the Specialist in Economics for Management Studies
  6. Earn a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0.

  • The CGPA requirement to complete certain programs is higher than 2.0. For details see the individual program descriptions.
  • Only programs offered by UTSC may be used to fulfill degree requirements.
  • Students may consult with an Academic Advisor in the Office of the Registrar regarding degree requirements. Consult the departmental program advisor regarding program requirements.
