Light Spectroscopy (visible, Ultra Violet, Infrared, Fluorescence, Phosphorescence), X-ray, Chromatography and electrochemical separations will be addressed. Principles of measurement; detection of photons, electrons and ions; instrument and experiment design and application; noise reduction techniques and signal-to-noise optimization will be covered.
