In this experiential learning course, students apply their discipline-specific academic knowledge as they learn from and serve their communities. Students carry out placements where they provide their unique student perspectives to either past university instructors or off-campus community organizations. Through class discussions, workshops and assignments, students also develop transferable skills such as interpersonal communication, professionalism and self-reflection that help them connect theory and practice.
Completion of 4.0 full credits and selection of a U of T Scarborough major or specialist subject POSt. GPA and communication skills will also be considered.
