HLTD51H3 Aging and the Arts

In this advanced seminar students will examine older age using the methods and materials of the humanities, with particular focus on: 1) the representation of aging and older age in the arts; and 2) the role of arts-based therapies and research initiatives involving older people and/or the aging process.


HLTA03H3 and HLTB50H3 and [an additional 1.5 credits at the C-level in HLT courses]; and a minimum CGPA of 2.5.

Recommended Preparation: 

Prior experience in humanities courses at the secondary or post-secondary level.

Priority will be given to students in the Minor Program in Health Humanities.
