An introduction to translation. The course will use a wide selection of short texts dealing with a variety of topics. Grammatical and lexical problems will be examined with special attention to interference from English. Prerequisite [FREA01H3 and FREA02H3] or equivalent. Exclusion Native proficiency. FREB08H3 may not be taken after or concurrently with FREC18H3, FRE480Y or FRE481Y.
