PSYC70H3: Advanced Research Methods Laboratory

The course focuses on methodological skills integral to becoming a producer of psychological research. Students will learn how to identify knowledge gaps in the literature, to use conceptual models to visualize hypothetical relationships, to select a research design most appropriate for their questions, and to interpret more complex patterns of data.

Priority will be given to students in the Specialist/Specialist Co-op programs in Psychology, Mental Health Studies, and Neuroscience (Cognitive stream), and the Specialist Co-op program in Neuroscience (Stage 1). Students in the Major/Major Co-op programs in Psychology and Mental Health Studies will be admitted as space permits.
