| May 29, 2026 | ADMINISTRATIVE SUSPENSION OF ENROLMENT FOR THE CERTIFICATE IN COMPUTATIONAL SOCIAL SCIENCE (SCCER1040) | Enrolment in the Certificate in Computational Social Science will be administratively suspended effective October 2, 2026, and students will no longer be able to enrol in the certificate thereafter. Students presently enrolled in the Certificate will be able to complete the certificate requirements as they are described in the Calendar active at the time students first chose the certificate as a Subject POSt. Students who are not enrolled in this certificate but are interested in training that integrates social science theory and perspectives with data science and artificial intelligence methods and tools are strongly recommended to consult the Department of Sociology and the Academic Advising & Career Centre for advising, as well as consider pursuing the Minor in Social Data Science instead.
