This course introduces the fundamental principles of data analysis for scientific literacy, focusing on how data are used to ask and answer questions in the social and life sciences. Students will explore key concepts such as descriptive statistics, probability, distributions, the central limit theorem, hypothesis testing, t-tests, and correlation.
